Bellevue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a vibrant, loving, and accepting group of people. We offer ministries for all ages including weekly adult Bible study, Sunday School for all ages, children’s ministries, choir, and lots of fellowship activities throughout the year.

We invite you to join us for worship on Sunday mornings, where you will be greeted with a warm smile and a hot cup of coffee (you can even bring your coffee into worship with you!).

You are welcome to dress up, or dress down, whatever is most comfortable. Come join us as we journey together in faith!

When the apostle Paul stood atop Mars Hill, he proclaimed good news to a diverse people steeped in philosophy, culture, and spirituality. Mars Hill Church seeks to continue that legacy in modern-day Seattle. Our city is a place much like first-century Athens: a marketplace of ideas, a vibrant arts community, and a metropolitan hub.

Mars Hill Church lives for Jesus as a city within the city: knowing culture, loving people and seeing lives transformed to live for Jesus.

Mars Hill Services run approximately 90 minutes and casual attire is welcome. Children’s Ministry is offered to families with children 5 months to 9 years old at every service.

Who are we?

We are ordinary people–families, singles, young and old who desire to live our lives so that the transforming character of the Gospel penetrates into every corner of our experience.
We are busy people who must contend with the same challenges to make room for our faith just like everyone else. We do this by taking the formation of our faith seriously in the context of a variety of learning communities.
We are missional people who understand our faith must be expressed in service to our community and to the world.

EastLake is a non-denominational, inter-generational, multi-locational (is that a word?) somewhat disorganized church started by nine friends in 2005. We want to be a safe place for regular people to explore faith in community – no church experience required. Its a place to be yourself, deepen spiritually, make a difference locally and globally, build friendships, and have a blast!

Why plant a church in the heart of downtown Bellevue? Simple. For the glory of One and the joy of many. And there are many who both work and live in this rapidly expanding urban neighborhood.

* Five thousand people live in the city core.
* That’s projected to increase to 14,000 by 2020.
* Sixty to sixty-five thousand people fill the city each day.

Paul the Apostle planted churches in leading cities. He went where the people were. Following that model, The Downtown Church ministers in the middle of a place where tens of thousands of people congregate, live and play each day.

Go downtown and you’ll find places to live, eat, buy, work, play and distract. But joy is missing. Joy is found in one place, not in pursuing power, fame, lust or fortune. If a city is filled with the most beautiful thing on earth – people – shouldn’t they have the opportunity to experience the joy of knowing their creator? Joy is found in knowing and belonging to Jesus.

Matthew 13:44-46: “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

Our mission is to bring glory to Jesus while offering the gift of real joy in Bellevue’s downtown core.
